Although there is no marking on the back, this is a shell-shaped ravie plate from the late 1800s by Jules Vieillard Bordeaux in France. Since the period between the opening and closing of the kiln was short, not many of these remain, making this a very valuable item. As this is an antique item, it has faded over the years and has small scratches, but there are no major chips and it has survived to the present day in very good condition.
This is an antique and vintage item that has been loved throughout the ages up until the present day. As it has been around for a long time, it has scratches and stains due to age, but we hope you will cherish it, including those scratches and stains. Although we have checked carefully, there may be scratches and stains that are not listed. Please be aware of the above.
