Although there is no marking on the back, this is a shell-shaped ravie plate from the late 1800s by Jules Vieillard Bordeaux in France. Since the period between the opening and closing of the kiln was short, not many of these remain, making this a very valuable item. As this is an antique item, it has faded over the years and has small scratches, but there are no major chips and it has survived to the present day in very good condition.
